Does SimpleInventory support barcode scanning today?

Barcode scanning can speed up inventory work by letting a user identify a product with a barcode instead of searching for it manually. SimpleInventory plans to add barcode scanning as part of its lightweight inventory workflow. It is planned as a future capability and is presented as Coming Soon until released.
