What's inside the template

Nine columns — the same fields the SimpleInventory AI import is designed to recognize.

Column	What it's for
Product Name	The item's name as you refer to it day to day.
SKU	A unique code per item. Even a simple self-made code prevents duplicate rows.
Category	A group such as Electronics, Materials, or Supplies for filtering and reports.
Supplier	Where the item comes from, useful when reviewing what to restock.
Quantity	How many units you currently hold. The single most important column to keep current.
Unit Price	Cost or value per unit, used for inventory value views.
Location	Where the item is stored — a shelf, bin, or site name.
Reorder Point	The quantity at which you want a heads-up. In the XLSX version this drives the Stock Status formula.
Stock Status	In Stock, Low Stock, or Out of Stock — automatic in Excel, manual in the CSV.
